Little Egret - Egretta garzetta

The Little Egret is a common sight close to the coast throughout the Algarve. It is a completely white member of the heron family with a black bill and legs and bright yellow feet. The specimens on this page were photographed at Cabanas De Tavira, Quinta Do Lago and Vilamoura reed beds.
